Hollywood Smiles USA, Inc. has been operating as a wholesaler of professional teeth whitening systems since June 2001. Tiffinie Mcafee, owner and President, saw the opportunity to introduce a current and proven method of teeth whitening in a nontraditional channel. Due to the recent FDA regulations, this teeth whitening method has been deemed a cosmetic procedure, so it is unnecessary to visit a dentist to have it completed. In addition, while working as a dental assistant, Tiffinie discovered that margins between the cost of product to do teeth whitening and what was being charged to consumers was in the 400-500 percent range. The actual costs were much lower; enabling Hollywood Smiles (HS) to offer the same service for approximately one-third the price.
